KILLED OR MISSING
AS RESULT OF AIR RAIDS OVER 1,200,086 PERSONS IN GERMANY. ACCORDING TO OFFICIAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, October 28. The first Allied air raid against Wiener Neustadt killed 800 persons, and the raid against Feldwirch killed 314, says a message from Zurich. A member’ of the Official Statistics Office in Berlin stated that 1,200,086 German civilians had been killed or were missing, believed killed, as a result of air raids from the outbreak of war to October 1, this year, while 6,953.000 bombed-out persons had been evacuated.
