THE MAORI SHIELD (To the Editor.) Sir, —Thanks to the help of enthusiasts, the Maori-carved hockey shield has been located, and is now in safe keeping. I wish to extend to the ‘•Times-Age’’ my grateful appreciation for help. I might add, however, that .the trophy was located in a private house at Otaki — Yours, etc., H.
