CHURCH SERVICES
The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m. and at Upper Plain at 9 a.m. The Ven. Archdeacon E. J. Rich will conduct the services at St. Matthew's Church at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Captain H. Sutcliffe, C.A., will preach at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. and at the Public Hospital at 3 p.m. The services at the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. G. H. Goodman. Mr J. D. Blundell will preach at the Kuripuni Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Farewell services at the Baptist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. J. Cumming, who has accepted a call to the Karori Baptist Church, Wellington. In the morning the subject will be “Relationships Humane and Divine.” and in the evening “The War. the Truth, and the Life.” At the Knox Church tomorrow the annual Solway College Old Girls’ service will be held, and there will b.e a choir of one hundred voices. The organist and conductor will be Miss Mavis McDonald, L.R.S.M.. L.T.C.L., director of music at Solway College. The preacher will be the Rev. W. J. Couling. In the evening the Rev. J. M. Simpson will conduct the services. A Church of Christ service will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock. Sunday School will meet at 10 a.m. The Self Denial service at the Salvation Army citadel tomorrow night will be conducted by Mrs Major Stone. In the morning an address will be given by Mrs Major Allot.
