Mr and Mrs A. H. Daniell, Albert Street, Masterton, are staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs Taylor, Kelburn, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs A. P. Bennett, Essex Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs E. Burkitt,-'Napier, are the weekend guests of Mr and Mrs Eric Shaw, Te Ore Ore. Mrs Kent Johnston, Third Street, Lansdowne, who has been visiting Palmerston North and Wellington, has returned to Masterton. Mr T. G. Harvey, who has been the Pahiatua representative for Thos. Borthwick and Sons, A’sia, Ltd., for the past five years, has been promoted to the Masterton office of the same firm. The engagement is announced of Constance Clara Jean, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Walker, Featherston, to Alfred Raymond (on furlough), twin son of Mrs E. and the late Mr A. T. Dickason, Masterton.
