CROQUET CLUB SEASON OPENED YESTERDAY. „, (“Times-Age” Special.) J ne Mauriceville Croquet Club opened its season yesterday under ideal conditions. The was in perfect order. There was a large attendance of players and visitors. The first ball was driven by the patron, Mrs J. w. Milner. The president, Mrs H. Trass Senr., presented Mrs Milner with a bouquet. The winners of the competitions were: —Angles, Mrs McKeown; clock, Mrs Milner; hoops, Mrs Trass; golf, Mrs McKeown; hurry skurry. Mesdames McKeown and Spackman. Afternoon tea was served.
