BOY ARRESTED
ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE. INJURED MAN IN SERIOUS CONDITION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.! WHANGAREI, October 15. Admitted to the Kawakawa hospital at 6 o'clock last evening suffering from a fracture of the skull, apparently caused by a number of blows from an implement, James Muriwai. aged 22. is in a critical condition. An operation was performed late last night but the patient has not regained consciousness. A 16-year-old boy arrested last night was charged at the Kaikohe Court today with attempted murder and remanded to appear at Whangarei.
