AIR TRAINING CORPS

MEETING OF CITIZENS ON MONDAY VISIT OF MOBILE UNIT LATER The Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, has called a public meeting of citizens of Masterton on Monday, October 18, at 7.30 p.m. at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms, Church Street, with a view to enlisting their support in the activities of the Air Training Corps and those of the Masterton Squadron in particular. Wing Commander G. A. Nicholls, Commandant of the Air Training Corps, will address the meeting and stress the urgency of recruiting in the Air Training Corps at the present time. At the conclusion of the meeting the Commandant will be pleased to answer all questions in order that the citizens of Masterton will be quite clear on all phases of the work carried out by the Air Training Corps. On Monday, October 25, the public of Masterton will be afforded the opportunity of obtaining an inside view of the technical section of the R.N.Z.A.F. when the Air Training Corps Mobile Instructional Unit visits Masterton. The Mobile Unit will be on display at the parking area of the W.F.C.A. on Monday evening and all day on Tuesday until 9 p.m. On Wednesday morning the Unit will proceed to Carterton and will be on view at the Wairarapa Show.
