The improved war situation in the Pacific is reflected in a Wartime Prices Board order in Canada removing the ban on two pair pant suits and on trousers with cuffs. Both were prohibited in March because of the danger that the Australian wool supply might be cut off and because of the needs of the Canadian Armed Forces. Recent developments in the Pacific, the Board announces, seem to ensure continued availability of Australian wool. Demands of the Armed Forces also are less of a burden. No increase in prices is permitted.
