None of our aircraft are missing.” MORE GERMAN CLAIMS. “All sections of the German armed forces attacked Kos on Sunday, smashed the enemy resistance and occupied the island in two days,” says today’s German communique. “Six hundred British prisoners,” it adds, “were taken, also 2,500 Badoglio troops, 40 guns, 22 aircraft and one ship were captured. The mopping up of enemy remnants continues.”
