AMERICAN SERVICES CLUB

BACKWARDS DANCE LAST EVENING. NEXT WEEK’S PROGRAMME. There was a large attendance at the American Red Cross Services Club, Masterton, last night, when a “backwards” dance was held. The Marines wore their blouses and the girls their dresses back to front. The decorations embodied a “backwards” theme. Typical American sayings were banging upside down on the walls. A Marine unit orchestra played the dance music. At the club tomorrow the usual tea dance will be held. On Monday members of the Marines Corps may make lino cuts for Christmas cards, and on Tuesday a “bingo” party will be held. On Wednesday and Saturday the usual dances will be held. Registered girls are invited to all activities.
