OBITUARY
MR HERBERT MILLINGTON. The death occurred in Greytown on Sunday of Mr Herbert Millington, late of Longbush and Masterton. He had been in indifferent health for the past two or three years. The late Mr Millington was born in Blenheim 76 years ago. His father was formerly proprietor of the “Marlborough Express.” Mr Millington came to Masterton when he was a young man and was married here when he was 23 years of age. He was a draper by occupation and for many years was employed by the W.F.C.A. Ltd. and later by Messrs George and Doughty, m Wellington. He then took up farming at Longbush with his son. His wife predeceased him 18 years ago and his only son died three years ago. He is survived by a brother and two sisters residing at Walton, in the Waikato, and by one grandson. The funeral will take place tomoirow, leaving the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd., following a service at 2.30 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
