CENTRALISED CONTROL
OVER LEND-LEASE & OTHER ACTIVITIES. ANNOUNCED BY PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.0 a.m.) RUGBY, September 26. A Washington message states that President Roosevelt has announced the creation of the office of Foreign Economic Administration, to centralise the activities formerly carried out by the offices of the Lend-Lease Administration, Foreign Relief and Rehabilitation, and Economic Warfare. Mr Leo T. Crowley, Director of Economic Warfare, wil become the Foreign Economic Administrator.
