— — CARD PARTY & DANCE WAR SERVICE COMMITTEE (“Times-Age” Special.) The War Service Committee’s fortnightly dance and card party was a success. The music was supplied by Tom Udy’s Orchestra. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Sue Piper and partner. The euchre prizes went to A. Gain, A. Robinson and J. Thompson. A cake donated by Mrs G. Gain was won by Mr Dyson, of Greytown. Personal Items Mr and Mrs G. Cuff have returned home after a holiday spent in Wanganui and Dannevirke. Mrs lan Blain, of Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs J. Blain, of South Featherston. Mrs C. Fenwick, of Carterton, is staying with Mrs Alan Burt.
