MASTERTON STOCK SALE
♦ FAT SHEEP PRICES MAINTAINED. A small yarding of fat sheep came forward at the Masterton stock sale today, when prices were about equal to those ruling at last week’s sale. Prime fat wethers sold at 35s 6d, 38s, 39s 6d and 40s 3d; light fat wethers, 32s 6d; prime fat ewes, 295; light fat ewes, 225; prime Down ewes, 295; fat b.f. hoggets, 245, 25s 6d; shorn fat hoggets. 22s lOd.
