CARTERTON
DAIRY INDUSTRY MILK SUPPLY BELOW USUAL QUANTITY. (“Times-Age” Special.) As the result of the dry .autumn which caused a shortage of winter feed, the supply of milk from the dairy farms in the district is at present below the usual quantity. The cheese output is not as high as was the case at this time last season. The grass however, is coming away well after the recent rain, and. with warmer days ahead, factories should soon be running at capacity. School Committee Meeting. The monthly meeting of the Carterton District High School Committee will be held tonight. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs C. Teal, Junr., of Wellington, are spending a holiday in Carterton.
