An iced fruit cake was won by Mrs R. P. Hardy. The ladies’ committee supplied the supper. Personal. Mrs William Johnson, Moore Street, returned today from Linton, where she had been visiting her daughter. Mortality Among Lambs. Considering the boisterous weather experienced during the past week, the mortality in young lambs has been much lighter than was expected. Exceptionally good percentages are reported. Excellent management and the providing of only the best pictures has made the Cosy Theatre one of the most popular picture entertainment houses in the Wellington province.
