MASTERTON CLUB. PAIRS COMPETITION. The Masterton Indoor Bowling 'Club’s progressive pairs Competition resulted in Morgan winning the leads section with 4 wins 86 points, the runner-up being E. Gray, 4 wins 69 points. Ihaka was the winning skip, winning 4 games and scoring -80 points. The runners-up were A. Gray, E. Mooney and F. Mooney, each with 4 wins. The fixtures for this week are as follow: Tuesday, 7 p.m., No. 1, Cliff v McNab, No. '2, Dewar v Knowles; 7.45 p.m., No. 1, Rossitter v Hearps; No. 2, McFarlane v Stears; 8.30 p.m., No. 1, E. Mooney v Freeman; No. 2, A. Gray v Onion; 9.15 p.m., No. 1, E. Gray v Henson; No. 2, Ihaka v Roff. The following players are to be present on Thursday to play the winners of the above games: Pickering, Walker, Palmer, Morgan, F. Mooney, Duff, Stewart, Judd and Leigh.
