TOWN HALL “PUDDIN’ HEAD.” Tonight there will be presented the outstanding comedy, “Puddin’ Head,” with Judy Canova and Francis Lederer in the chief characters.
PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE 1943 DIRECT APPEAL. (“Times-Age’’ Special.) Total to date (excluding proportion of Wairarapa Racing Club donation, £500), £1548 6s 2d. RED CROSS SOCIETY EUCHRE TOURNAMENT. An enjoyable euchre party was held by the local branch of the Red Cross Society yesterday when the prizes were won by Miss Card and Mrs Muir. A competition was won by Mr D. Holland. Donations were received from Mrs N. Matthews and Miss Card. Personal Items. Miss Foss is visiting relatives at Levin. Miss Dempster is on a visit to Wellington. COSY THEATRE “PUDDIN’ HEAD.” Judy Canova and Francis Lederer will have the leading roles in the outstanding comedy, “Puddin’ Head,” which will be shown on Wednesday night.
