Pywell, Owhango, is the guest of Mrs 1 Gray, Papawai. At the Methodist School room recently a social gathering was held in honour of Miss Millie Moy, who is to be married shortly. The time was spent in games and competitions. A play was produced by members of the senior Bible Class, which was much enjoyed. On behalf of the church members and Bible Class, Mrs Ross presented Miss Moy with a beautiful cloth and serviettes. Messrs Woolford and A. Haigh wished her every happiness.in her future life, stating that she had been a faithful member of the Bible Class. Mr and Mrs H. Edmanson and Miss Nancy Edmanson, of Wellington, were the guests of Mrs J. Reid, McMaster Street, over the weekend. Miss I. Askew has left on a visit to Christchurch. Miss F. Oxford is spending the school holidays at her home in Timaru. Mr J. Brooking, of West Street, has left for Auckland. Mrs R. G. Vile is spending a holiday at Nev/ Plymouth. Mr G. Petherick, of Wellington, is the guest of Mr and Mrs V/. G. K. Wiggins, Kuratawhiti Street. Mrs Leo Udy, of Wanganui, is staying with her mother, Mrs A. B. Balfour. Mrs W. C. Cooke has returned to . Palmerston North. Women’s Division Meeting. The monthly meeting of the Greytown branch of the Women’s Division ; of the Farmers’ Union will be held on ( Wednesday, commencing at 2 p.m. ' sharp. ; TOWN HALL “PUDDIN’ HEAD.” ; Judy Canova and Francis Lederer ! will be seen tomorrow night in the ‘ brilliant comedy, “Puddin’ Head." '
