EKETAHUNA
POLITICAL ADDRESS (‘‘Times-Age" Special.) The Hon. J. O’Brien, Minister of Transport, will address a public meeting at Eketahuna on Friday next. “I go from markets to the N.A.A.F. (Navy, Army and Air Force) Officers' Moss at Bomber Command, from school classrooms to broadcasting studios, from seaside resorts to munition factories, from London club to wayside pub. I am for ever on the move, talking and listening wherever I g;0, accepted in every strata of our complicated society because I am just the average Englishman. I could never be mistaken for anything else.” —S. P. B. Bais, broadcasting from London to overseas listeners.
