MAN FATALLY INJURED. TRAGEDY AT KHANDALLAH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Struck by the electric train at Khandallah station shortly before 5 p.m. yesterday, Mr J. A. Hendry, a retired engineer, aged 55, of 11 Box Hill, Khandallah, suffered severe head injuries, to which he succumbed at 6.40 p.m. at the Wellington Hospital. 'lt is stated that Mr Hendry Avas walking over the railway crossing and had an umbrella up. The train was going toward Wellington. He Avas struck from behind and hurled on to the ramp of the platform, receiving a compound fracture of the skull.
