ENJOYABLE EUCHRE PARTY.

There was a good attendance at the euchre party held at the Service Club on Tuesday night, when a most enjoyable time was spent. At cards Mr D. Burt was first and Mrs Sim and Mr Cassidy tied for the second prize. A competition was won by Mr Cross.

The lady members of the local Golf Club played a championship game on the Gumgrove links yesterday afternoon, when Miss Williams detested Mrs Batchelor and Mrs Elbe beat Mrs McGill.

COSY THEATRE TWO BIG FEATURES.

Tomorrow night there will be two big features at the Cosy Theatre. “Mail Train” is an excellent espionage story, featuring Gordon Harker and Alastair Sim. “The Mystery of Marie Roget” is a thrilling drama in which the leading roles are portrayed by Maria Montez and Patrie Knowles.
