OPOSSUM SEASON REPORTED TO EE A GOOD ONE. ("Times-Age” Special.) Opossum trappers report that the season to date lias been a good one. It has been hampered, however, by the stormy weather experienced lately. Personal Items. Mrs E. Taurau, Dannevirke, is visiting relatives at Pirinca. Mr J. A. McDougall has returned from a visit to the South Island. Mrs Kini, who has been staying with Mr and Mrs Bragg has returned to tiro South Island. Mrs Mikaera is a patient in the Wellington Hospital. Mr Evans is visiting Pirinoa.
The death occurred suddenly at Featherston on Friday evening of Mrs Cameron, widow of Dr. Cameron, Toronto, at the age of 78 years. She was born in Canada and came to New Zealand about 20 years ago. She had resided in this district all that period. Her only relative in New Zealand is Mrs Mikaera. Te Hopai, Featherston. The funeral took place at Featherston on Monday.
