LADIES’ GOLF CLUE DRAW FOR COMPETITIONS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The draw for a nine hidden holes competition and the second round for the Keltic Buttons, to be played by the ladies at Greytown on Saturday, is as follows: —Miss E. Gregor v Miss B. Feast: Mrs Thompson v Miss Maddison; Mrs Jury v Mrs Gold; Miss M. Collier v Miss B. Gregor; Miss Quinn v Miss Wood; Miss Bouzaid v Miss M. Carter; Miss B. Burch v Miss G. Reid. High School Party. The pupils of the Greytown District High School held a term party in the Odd Fellows Hall on Tuesday evening, where there was a large attendance of parents and old pupils. Musical items were given by Misses Joan Ticehurst. Margaret O’Ncale and Lorraine Sugrue. Mr S. Te Tau supplied the music and Mr P. Brabender carried out the duties of M.C. Extras were played by Misses B. Burch, M. Carter, and C. Bouzaid. The headmaster, Mr S. C. Shedden, expressed the thanks of the guests for the enjoyable gathering provided. Personal Items. Mesdames W .Gates and N. S. McLeod have left to spend a holiday in the Waikato district. Signalman C. Field is spending leave with his parents at Moroa. Cable advice has been received locally that Gunner A. G. Carter and Privates W. Brown, R. Allen, W. Everett, and N. Harris were fit and well. TOWN HALL DOUBLE PROGRAMME. At the Town Hall tonight, “Mail Train” (an exciting espionage drama featuring Gordon Harker and Ab.-'tair Sim) and "The Mystery of Marie Roget” (a thrilling picture starring Maria Montez and Patrie Knowles) will be shown.
