DENOUNCED BY CHUNGKING* RADIO. i MOUNTAIN BOULDERS PUSHED ON TO PRISONERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) CHUNGKING, August 18. During fighting in the Taiheng Mountains, the Japanese pushed heavy i'ocks and boulders on to Chinese prisoners and gleefully watched them being crushed to death, declared the Chungking radio, which added: “In virtually every village of this region the Japanese have been guilty of cruelty and atrocities beyond the imagination of civilians.’”
