ORDER OF ODD FELLOWS LOYAL HEART OF OAK LODGE. (“Times-Age” Special.) \ P.G. Bro W. McPherson presided over the fortnightly meeting of Loyal Heart of Oak Lodge held last evening. Bro R. J. Wallis, of Hawera, wrote stating that he was still unable to work and was receiving treatment at the Hawera Public Hospital. The question of a roll of honour for the lodge was again considered, and the secretary submitted a list of some 25 members who were at present on active service. It was resolved that photographs of members be obtained for the object in view. Tribal Committee Dance. On Saturday evening next the Carterton Maori Tribal Committee will hold a dance in the State Theatre. The proceeds will be devoted to patriotic, purposes. There will be novelty dances and Udy's Orchestra will provide the music. Get on the Roll. The Wellington Provincial Council of the Licensed Trade draws attention to the importance of applying for enrolment on the Wairarapa roll for the general election. Depots have been opened in the main centres and all the elector needs to do is to call and his or her enrolment will be attended to and all necessary information given. Personal. Mr J. Maher, National candidate for the Wairarapa seat, arrived in Carterton this morning. REGENT THEATRE “MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY." Tonight Clark Gable, Charles Laughton and Franchot Tone will be seen in the great drama, "Mutiny on the Bounty.”
