OBITUARY
MR. PATRICK DALY. The death occurred in Masterton Hospital this morning of Mr Patrick Daly, of 53 Lincoln Road, Masterton. The late Mr Daly, who was born in Winton 62 years ago, was formerly a well-known horse trainer. He had resided in Masterton for many years. He served in the South African War and in thh Great War of 1914-18, being invalided home as the result of injuries received in action. He is survived by a widow. There is no family.
The funeral;, will take place on Saturday, leaving ( St. Partick’s Church, following mass at 9 a.m., for the soldiers’ plot in the M.ksterton Cemetery.
