Carterton Library.

Steady progress is being made with the re-classification and arrangement of the books in the Carterton Public Library. The very fine Carter collection is now available for loan. These books have been re-arranged in a group system of classification which readers should find a definite advantage. The handling of several thousand books has been a big job entailing more work than appears on the surface, but it is expected to be complete, about the end of the month, when it is hoped that subscribers will find much benefit from the new arrangements. He was picked up by the occupants of the car and taken to his home. Fortunately he was not seriously hurt. The bicycle was badly smashed.
