PENSION INCREASES

GRANTED TO OLD FOLKS IN CANADA. OTTAWA. July 30. Canadian old age and blind pensioners are to receive a special war supplement not exceeding 5 dollars a month. The payment will be shared by the Dominion and Provincial Governments on a basis of 75 per cent and 25 per cent as they now share old age pension costs. Under the present agreement between the Dominion and the provinces old age pensioners receive a maximum of 20 dollars a mon in.
