INDOOR BASKETBALL GAMES IN MASTERTON.

INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION COMPETITION.

Thrilling contests were witnessed at the Wairarapa interhouse Association’s indoor basketbail competition which was continued in Masterton last night. The play was fast and the teams were well matched. A number of invitation games were played in addition to the championship games. Results:—W.F.C.A. beat Sparklets, 12-2; Transport beat Mac Duff’s B, 14-5; Hansell’s beat C. Smith’s, 6-3; Rangers A beat Lancers, 10-7; Cody’s beat Garages, 26-8; Rangers B drew with Hansell's B, 11-11. Invitation games resulted:—McKenzie's beat United, 14-6: Woolworths beat Mac Duff’s A, 10-6; Borthwick’s beat Cathie's B, 6-0.
