WAKE ISLAND
ATTACKED BY AMERICAN BOMBERS. HEAVY DAMAGE DONE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) RUGBY, July 27. The United States Navy Department announces that on Wednesday American Librators attacked Wake Island and caused heavy damage. One bomber is missing. A Catalina attacked Kiska, making the 41st attack there this month.
