AIR ATTACKS
AMERICANS BOMB TARGET IN FRANCE. TEN ENEMY PLANES DESTROYED BY R.A.F. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY, July 27. American medium bombers attacked an airfield at Tricqueville, in Northern France, in daylight today. R.A.F. fighters destroyed nine enemy aircraft in offensive operations in the evening. Two of our planes are missing. A Coastal Command Beaufighter destroyed an enemy plane off the Dutch coast.
