SUCCESSFUL DANCE. The Greytown Returned Services' Association annual dance was an outstanding success. The whole district was represented and the large number of service men of the Second N.Z.E.F. who were present were given a hearty welcome by Miss Higginson. Sister Rhodes, wife of Sergeant Major Barney Rhodes, was also present, and received a cordial welcome. Udy’s Orchestra supplied the music and Messrs R. O'Neale and S. Shedden acted as M’s.C. The ladies’ committee, under the direction of Mrs A. G. Nisbet, were in charge of the supper arrangements.

GOLF CLUB DRAW FOR LADIES’ GAMES. The draw for a flag match and the second round for the challenge cup to be played by the ladies at Greytown on Saturday is as follows: —Mrs Jury v. Mrs Thompson; Miss E. Gregor v. Miss R. Collier; Mrs Gold v. Miss B. Feast; Miss M. Maddison v. Miss M. Collier; Miss B. Gregor v. Miss Askew; Miss J. Bouzaid v. Miss M. Carter (tea day); Miss B. Burch v. Miss G. Reid. TOWN HALL DOUBLE PROGRAMME. Preston Foster and Patricia Morrison will portray the chief characters in the thrilling drama, “A Night in New Orleans,” which will be presented tonight. “Arizona Bound,” is a thrilling drama of the West, featuring Buck Jones and Pat McCoy.
