"SOUTH OF THE BORDER”

DANCE AT AMERICAN RED CROSS CLUB. A BRILLIANT SUCCESS. Bright lights, music, confetti and happy faces transformed the American Red Cross Service Club in Masterton last night into a scene of gaiety, when a “South of the Border” night was held. There were 200 couples present to enjoy the splendid programme which featured “La Conga” and the rhumba. Credit was due to those responsible for the brilliant success of the evening. At the Regent Theatre on Sunday at 2.15 p.m. “The Grand Review” will be presented by the Wellington Red Cross Service Club for service men and their partners. The usual club dance will be held on Friday night.
