The following New Zealand air personnel serving overseas have been reported as casualties:— ANSTEY, William 1.. Flight Lieutenant, D.F.C., R.A.F., seriously ill, admitted to hospital; Timaru. MILLAR, Ronald D., Flying Officer. D.F.M., confirmed prisoner of war; Wellington. PIERCY, Frank A., Pilot Officer, killed on active service: Riverton. REID, Ronald J., Sgt., confirmed prisoner of war: Wellington. TOSSWILL, John T.. Pilot Officer. R.A.F., confirmed prisoner of war; Auckland. Reclassifications. BROUN. Ronald R.. F/Sgt., previously reported seriously injured, now removed from seriously ill list as at 5/7/43. ELLIOTT, Max H.. Sgt., previously reported missing, death now officially presumed as at 30/9/42. GRIFFITHS, Ivor S., previously reported missing, now reclassified to missing, believed killed. LOGAN, James A., Flying Officer, previously reclassified missing, believed killed, death now officially presumed as at 10/11/42. MacERLICH, William J.. Sgt., previously reported missing, now reclassified to missing, believed killed. PARK, Nigel M.. Pilot Officer, previously reported missing, death now officially presumed as at 25/10/42. ROBERTS, Maxwell G., L/Ac., previously reported seriously ill. now removed from seriously ill list as at 1/7/43.
