KNOX CHURCH

LADIES’ SOCIAL GUILD, ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Knox Church Ladies’ Social Guild. the Rev. David McNeur presided. Letters of appreciation were received from Monty Munn, J. Jenkin and H. Flannery. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—President. Mrs G W. Morice; vice-presidents, Mesdames Ratcliffe, Sheafer, Kerry, Kitchener and Heyder; visiting committee, Mesdames McCracken, Malmo. Henderson, Gaskin. Taylor and Miss Tankersley; entertainment committee, Mesdames Traynor. Kerry, Reynolds. Joseph and Esau: secretary and treasurer. Mrs C. A. Pickering. Mrs Ogilvie rendered a solo which was much appreciated. The Rev. D. McNeur gave a most interesting address on the help derived from social guilds and the goodness that is done by always working with an object in view. Mrs Morice on behalf of the Guild thanked Mr McNeur for his address. A “bring and buy” table was held in aid of the Chaplain’s Fund.
