SAVAGE CLUB
LADIES’ NIGHT. The annual ladies’ night of the Masterton Savage Club was held in the club rooms there being a good attendance. After the installation of the chief and chieftainess, Mr and Mrs Vin Wilton, a programme of music, story, song and drama was enjoyed by all, followed by the “Butterey Hatch" period and dancing. Colonel A. E. Loach, secretary of the New Zealand Kindred Club’ Association, was the club’s guest for the evening.
