RETURNED SERVICE MEN

ADVISORY COMMITTEE SET UP. MEETING LAST EVENING . A meeting of returned service men of the present war was held last evening in the Soldiers’ Club, Masterton. The president of the Wairarapa R.S.A., Mr H. J. Brass, presided over an attendance of 19 ex-service men. It was decided to set up an advisory committee to work in conjunction with the central executive of the Wairarapa R.S.A.. regarding matters affecting the welfare of returning soldiers. Each of the branches of the association is being invited to appoint a representative of the present war members on the committee. The committee elected last night is: Messrs F. Martin, D. W. Roys, H. Stimpson, J. G. Heasley, S. G. Slater and H. N. Frew. Mr Martin was appointed chairman pro tern.
