Children’s Party on Saturday.

The Parents’ Association of St. Matthew’s Collegiate School will hold its annual plain and fancy dress children’s dance and party in the College Assembly Hall on Saturday next, commencing at 2.30 p.m. Child’s Death. A 2-year-old child died in the Patea hospital yesterday as the result of scalds received to the throat. He was Ernest George Mills, son of Mr and Mrs George Mills, Patea. The child put his mouth near the spout of a kettle of water boiling on a stove and inhaled a quantity of steam and swallowed boiling water.
