INDOOR BASKETBALL
INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION COMPETITION. LAST NIGHT’S RESULTS. Keen and exciting play was witnessed at the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium, Masterton, last night, when the Wairarapa Interhouse Association continued its indoor basketball competition. The results were as follow: — Sparklets beat Cathie’s A, 9/8; Lancers beat C. Smith’s, 10/6; W.F.C.A. beat McDuff’s A, 11/5; Cathie’s B drew with Rangers B, 7/7: Hansell’s A beat Garages, 18/4; McKenzie’s beat Woolworth’s, 18/10; Borthwick’s beat Macduff’s B, 24/0; Cody’s beat Rangers A, 11/10; Hosiery Mills beat United, 10/7; Hansell’s B beat Transport, 7/2. Any person who found a referee’s whistle in the ladies’ dressing room is asked to communicate with the secretary, Mr G. Davis.
