INDOOR BASKETBALL
INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION COMPETITION. LAST NIGHT’S RESULTS. The Wairarapa Interhouse Association’s indoor basketball competition was continued in the gymnasium, Masterton, last night when many keenly contested games were witnessed by a number of spectators. Strict refereeing resulted in an improvement in the standard of play. Results: Transport boat Cathies B, 11-10; United drew with McKenzies, 10-10; Cody’s beat Lancers, 15-6; Borthwicks beat Rangers’ B, 13-4; Hosiery Mills beat Woolworths, 13-4; C. Smiths drew with Garages, 5-5; Hansells B beat McDuffs, 12-9; Cathies A drew with W.F.C.A., 7-7; Hansells A beat Rangers A, 7-4; McDuffs A beat Sparklets, 8-4.
