GREYTOWN

ROAD ACCIDENT 1

CAR & ARMY TRUCK COLLIDE. (“Times-Age” Special.) An accident occurred on the Grey-town-Featherston main highway, near the Greytown cemetery, on Saturday night at 8 o’clock when a car driven by Mr . Nichols, of Carterton, collided with an American lorry travelling in a convoy. Mr Nichols’s car was badlv damaged and a passenger, Mrs Jacobsen, of Wellington, received facial injuries. She was admitted to the Greytown Hospital and is reported to be making good progress. Mr Nichols suffered from shock and cuts from flying glass to his hands and face.
