OBITUARY
MRS CLARA GILLIONS. The death occurred in Masterton on Saturday of Mrs Clara Gillions, widow of the late Thomas Charles Gillions -The late Mrs Gillions was born in Cornwall, England, 79 years ago. Her marriage took place in London, and she came to New Zealand in 1920. She lived in Eketahuna and in Dunedin before she came to Masterton seven years ago. She was a keen member of. the Methodist Church, and was of a kindly nature. Her death will be mourned a large number of friends. Mrs Gillions leaves a family of four sons and five daughters Messrs Sidney Thomas (London), Thomas Leslie (Dunedin), John Reginald (New Plymouth) and Francis Rodney Gillions (a prison-er-of-war in Italy), and Mesdames C. Birch (Wellington), A. J. Daysh (Masterton), D. S. Dale (Linton), A. S. Berry (Dannevirke), and H. C. Grace (Dunedin). There are 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, leaving the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service, Ltd., following a service, commencing at 3 p.m., for the Masterton Cemetery.
