CELEBRATION IN EMPIRE COUNTRIES.

AND IN UNITED STATES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.45 a.m.) RUGBY. June 10. United Nations Day will be celebrated next Monday, when the ceremony of honouring the flags will be held in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh. Similar ceremonies will take place in the United States and in many parts of the British Empire. In London, the Army, Navy and Air Force will be represented in an imposing parade, which will also include officers and men serving in the Merchant Marine, Dominion and Indian forces, the Home Guard and Civil Defence services. A war workers’ contingent will consist of both men and women.
