HEAVY CALL
ON AMERICAN FOOD SUPPLIES. FOR MILITARY & LEND-LEASE NEEDS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) RUGBY, June 10. Twenty-five per cent of the United States 1943 food supply will be earmarked for military and lend-lease needs. Stating this, an official of the United States War Food Administration Department (Mr R. Hendrickson) told Americans that they must “prepare for a tighter food situation.”
