AMERICAN AIR FORCE IN BRITAIN MORE THAN DOUBLED IN LAST THREE MONTHS. AND STRENGTH STILL INCREASING RAPIDLY. LONDON. June 10. The strength of the American air force in Britain lias been more than doubled in the past three months and will be doubled again in the next .three months. This statement was made today by the commander of the American Air force in Brtain. Squadrons of lighters went out across the Straits of Dover this evening in the direction of Calais. Soon afterwards three radio stations in Belgium went off the air.
