BEING BROUGHT NEARER
DECLARATION BY CZECH SPOKESMAN. CALL FOR INTENSIFIED STRUGGLE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) RUGBY, June 10. “On the eve of decisive events on the world’s battlefronts, when the blows of the Allied armies and the increased fight of the enslaved peoples brings the day nearer when the prisons of Europe will be smashed, we call on our nation to intensify the fight against the enemy, so that the fall of his hated regime may be hastened and the mass murder of Czechoslavak citizens prevented."—This proclamation by _ the head of the Czechoslavak Council in London states that, on the occasion of the anniversary of the destruction of Lidice, a ceremony commemorating its anniversary was, held in the bombed area of Bermondsey.
