ANGLICAN MISSION BRIDGE /PARTY. ("Times-Age” Special.) A bridge party organised by Misses E. Simmers and S. Green in aid of the Anglican Mission was held in the Anglican Hall on Saturday evening, a very enjoyable lime being spent. The prize-winners were: —Ladies: Mrs F. C. Tumor. Men: Mr D. Hart. Supper was provided by the lady members of the church. Personal Items, Mr and Mrs J. H. Handyside spent the weekend in Masterton. Mrs McClurg and Mrs Pavitt, Wellington, have returned home after having spent the holiday with the Misses Wilson, Stanley Street. Mrs Graham, Masterton, is the guesi of Mrs L. Houlbrooke, Alfredton Road. Mr Davis, who has been the guest of his daughter, .Mrs K. Marenzi, Stanley Street, has returned to Wellington. Mrs E. Albretchsen, Hastwells, was the guest of Mrs Tildesley, Essex Street, Masterton, over the weekend. Mrs T. Johanson, Newman Road, has been visiting her sister in Mauriceville. Mrs G. Olsen, Dannevirke, has been on a visit to Mrs W. Olsen, Newman Road. Miss Nola ■ Hancock, Wellington, spent the weekend with her parents at Putara. Miss Alison Simmers, Wellington, spent the weekend with her parents, Dr. and Mrs Simmers. Miss Devonport, who was the guest of her sister, Mrs H. Mason, Bengston Street, has returned to Masterton. Miss Bannister. Masterton, spent the weekend with Miss Patricia Goggin, Rongokokako. Misses B. Cuurry, M. Bean and 1Burch, who were the guests over the weekend of Mrs W. Curry, Station Road, have returned to Lower Hutt. Miss Lorna Southey was a weekend guest of her parents, Mr and Mrs A. Southey, Macara Street.
