Football Boots Wanted.

Donations of football boots, six size 7, six size 8, seven size 9 and one size 10 would be appreciated by a New Zealand military unit. Donations may be left at the Town Clerk’s office, Masterton. The boots required are not procurable from retailers. Indoor Bowls.

The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club held another* successful progressive pairs tournament on Monday evening. The competition consisted of four games of six ends with three bowls each and some excellent games were played. F. Knowles worr the leads section with 4 wins 24 points and F. McNab was second with 3 games 25 points. The skips section was won by R. Walker with 3 wins 21 points and W. Edwards was second with 2J wins 22 points. On Tuesday next at 7 p.m. the club is entertaining members of the Masterton Park Bowling Club and the committee requests a full muster.
