ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

DANCE IN MASONIC HALL. A dance held by the St. John Ambulance Brigade in the Masonic Hall on Saturday night proved most successful. The hall was well filled and all present thoroughly enjoyed the music provided by Jack Barnes and his Rhythm Boys. The duties of M.C. were capably carried out by Mr C. S. McQuade, Cadet Superintendent. The Monte Carlo waltz competition was won by Miss Clarke and Cbrporal Bidley, of the U.S. Marine Corps, and a lucky spot one step was won by Miss Harding and Pte. Higgins of the U.S. Marine Corps. Extras were played by Mr C. Jackson and Miss Corlett. Mr McQuade thanked patrons for their attendance and announced that I the brigade’s next dance would be held 'on Saturday, May 29.
